The Lac La Ronge Indian Band Health Services department is seeking a Dental Assistant to help deliver and promote its Dental Care Program. Day-to-day, you will prepare for and assist the Dental Therapist or Dentist during procedures, provide fluoride treatments and oral hygiene education to children, manage appointments and client records, and handle infection control and general office duties.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is hiring a Dental Assistant for the Enhanced Preventative Dental Services department in La Ronge, SK, Canada. The role delivers clinical and preventative services, education, and oral health care promotion, working days on a full-time basis (224 hours per 6 weeks).

Reporting to the Manager, the Senior Dental Therapist will provide prevention services, diagnostic treatment planning, restorative/operative dental treatment, community and preventive dentistry services. The incumbent specializes in stimulating, coordinating, and delivering oral health promotion activities aimed at reducing disease and promoting oral health for people in the community.
